Lejla Lagumdžija

Lejla has studied civil law at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. During her studies, she completed an internship with the Yugoslavia Tribunal in The Hague and she worked as a legal advisor at the Legal Advice Centre in Rotterdam. She is admitted to the Amsterdam Bar and has been conducting her practice as an attorney-at-law with VMW Taxand since 2008.

Lejla works nationally and internationally in Corporate Law, with a strong tendency towards advice and litigation in the fields of (corporate) liabilities and shareholders’ disputes, liens and securities, besides which she advises on mergers and acquisitions, shareholders’ and investors’ agreements, commercial and distribution contracts as well.

Lejla is an active member of the Young Bar Association of Amsterdam and of International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA). Within AIJA she is active in the Distribution Commission.
