With degrees in law and tax law from the University of Amsterdam Iman made international tax partner in Price Waterhouse in 1986. He led the Dutch Price Waterhouse tax and legal practice from 1993 which included many international tax client responsibilities. After the 1998 merger with Coopers he was a member of the PwC Management team in the Netherlands. In 2001 he returned full time to the sharp end of the international tax practice. In 2010 he retired from PwC and joined VMW Taxand as of counsel. His practice areas are tax structuring for MNC's, cross-border M&A transactions and international tax- and /or financially driven restructures. Memberships include the International Bar Association, the International Fiscal Association and the Netherlands Association of Tax Advisers, where he has served as Treasurer (1991-1994), President (2006-2009) and currently as a member of the Association's Disciplinary Appeals Committee.
